Comment: These things REALLY work. Put one in the loft when we found it alive with flies,, and we had to keep emptying the unit.. Well worth the money.

Comment: When I ordered this, I was expecting a black one to turn up, as in the photo. In fact the one which was delivered was white -which looks better in a domestic kitchen I think. But it's designed to HANG and you really have to ask yourself, do I want this thing hanging in my kitchen? Fortunately it fits above our wall units ( just) and is fairly unobtrusive. For you information, this unit is just slightly over 11 inches high. I was slightly surprised by the manufacturer's recommendation that you need to renew the lamp every year otherwise they lose their effectiveness. Lamp failures do seem to be fairly common with these type of budget fly killers so I suggest you buy a replacement lamp as well, as I did. Finally, this is cracking value for money- my local garden centre is selling exactly the same item at £29.99.
