When my alternator needed replacing, TCB were recommended to me. I phoned up, and the voice at the other end was very much in the know.

I was quoted £280 for a new alternator from a local parts supplier, but a reconditioned one from TCB cost me only £105 inc VAT and delivery (Which was next day!)

I was a bit concerned over using a reconditioned part on my car, but when it arrived, it was spot on. Looked as if it had come straight out of the factory! Not a mark on it, and was in perfect condition.

After installing, I wasn't surprised to see my voltage meter lovely and high. No problems since install.

Being just round the corner from us here in Devon, I have used Trevor for a number of years. I found TCB a while back when I needed a new rad and even though I was shop manager of a car accessory shop Trevor's price was far cheaper than our suppliers, so I ordered off him and had it the next day.
He has since helped me out a few times with parts Mr T can't supply and people I have recommended him to sing his praises.

A few years back when my steering rack failed the MOT test. The garage sent the steering rack off to have it reconditioned (at my request) and the reconditioning company said there was nothing they could do with it.

I was left with a choice of import one from Japan at a cost of about 800 quid at the time or try and find a breaker with one in good condition. So I contacted TCB parts (who were recommended to me by my local, family run Ex-Toyota garage that I use for servicing) and see if they had anything.

TCB came up trumps and for £137 delivered I had a good condition steering rack fitted the next day.
