N/A to Turbo brake discs?

Post by BALDYMONSTER » 13/08/17 17:04

I'm hoping to buy new discs all round next summer.

Is there any advantage to fitting Turbo discs and if so are they just a direct replacement or would I need Turbo calipers as well?

They're all the same between turbo and na. The only difference is between rev1 and 2-5 as the rev1 brakes were smaller

if you have a rev 2 then you already have the bigger brakes as they are the same as turbo.

I was planning to convert my NA brakes to turbo in the future too.

Even though the disc is the same, I'm guessing the calipers are different?

As above. Be careful when looking for information online - the changeover years are different in the North American market, and they are the only market where NA's and Turbos do have different brakes for a given year - the NA's kept the small brakes for longer there.
