I've been looking at the more upmarket Prologo ones as the Kappa on the Felt is fantastic but the build isn't the best (buy budget, get budget)

I believe the erectile dysfunction bit is a myth though.... That said, can't hurt to be safe :th:

Completely agree with you otherwise though :th:

It's no myth, but is only temporary if it does effect the rider. Only a small percentage of men suffer this.

Went for a run to mix up the training.. busted my bloody knee, so now not been out on the bike for 6 days.

Still will get back to it soon and carry rolling around.

Having done sprinting in my youth and a half marathon a few years ago I wonder why people do it? As Rachel said sometime last year..

Hey guys, sorry I've been away.... Too many things on the boil has meant that my car life has taken a back seat.....

What hasn't though is the training for this event. We are still on and only have 6 weeks now until the ride. :th:

So far we have raised over £500 for this worthy charity and we'd love to hit our target. The link is in this thread to our Just Giving page. https://www.justgiving.com/MR2OC

We are now awaiting our event cycling gear. Took the initiative and have ordered custom cycling jerseys for the ride which all 7 of us have bought. This gets the cause, who it's for and who we are out there when we're on the bike. These should arrive in the next week.

So, despite my absence, this is still very much happening, in fact the final date is the 20th/21st May. As we have our accommodation booked, this is now very real :th:

5 Weeks on Saturday, that's all. Time is certainly slipping away from us now.

Fundraising has had a good leapstart in the past few weeks with a few very generous donations. we are still a way off our target however.

Our custom cycling kit should arrive this week which will help get the event some publicity. We now have accomodation booked for the start and the half way point.

In our own worlds, we are getting the time in. Hopefully we'll all be ready

5 weeks left to go and we now have the official cycling gear in. We've been working with a custom cycling gear supplier in order to come up with a design that no only worked as effective kit but gave our event the exposure we need on the road :th:
