What about Japanese 10th Anniversary MR2s?

Register is all well and good but first there really should be a "How to recognise an actual MR2 10th anniversary?"

Not for the Japanese one there isn't, most don't even know it exists. And technically it's a much higher spec than the UK Anniversary.

Sounds like your volunteering to write one. Wasn't it called the Billstien edition.

One l. ;)

The JDM package differed somewhat from the UK one. As far as I can tell it wasn't a specific numbered limited run of vehicles like the ones we got in 1996. It was a special package of upgrade items offered for G-Ltd cars produced in 1995.

This is the part number for the replacement door sticker.

As seen on the car of one of the Kent crew. :)

That's the sticker. I believe the GLimited had the Bilstien suspension from the tubby, black front Toyota badge, momo steering wheel (not the wooden one on the uk cars) and the sticker shown.

Done some digging.

10th anniversary model, launched January 1995 in Japan. Based on the G limited. Came in silver paint, five spoke wheels in grey, grey badging, Momo steering wheel and gearknob, Stainless steel treadplates. As well as Bilistein shocks. Think these were of a limited run, but cannot find the number in Japan. In the UK they made 250 numbered examples with commemorative badges.

So the JDM 10th Anny, only came in silver.

A JDM register would be a nice addition, there is a lot of JDM versions in Ireland. JDM's we not numbered AFAIK.

I was trying to get stickers for my JDM version and Toyota don't do them anymore, price would not have been considered as a barrier. So if anybody has some of those stickers let me know.

I do however have the JDM key fob, and I have not seen another one on any site Ireland, UK or US.

What I wouldn't give for one of them :th:
I asked Toyota for it and that was a good £90 about 5 years back.

I got the steering wheel; looks like a Momo Race but with a centre cover.
Also have the gearknob, got it for £56 brand new so cannot complain; great feel but I have yet to use it properly.
Have the design for the sticker as well with sizes and stuff; I will see if I can find it for you.

I have the steering wheel and key fob for number 127, which I don't really want.

Nor have I. More likely to be one of the UK ones.
If so, number 127 is one of those I posted a link to earlier.
