Hi all,

Haven't been on this site due to other commitments, Motorbike etc.

Wanted to put a good word in for Chris Knott Insurance, Just insured my G-limited for £489, which seemed like good value, and they will beat any quote you get from someone else by 10%.

I too have created a thread on this back in September.

Can't fault their customer service so far! (Although when I enquired about doing a turbo transplant they wanted another £180 off me, so I've decided against that now!)

It's who I've been with for years now. Treated me right so far, and whenever I've found a cheaper quote elsewhere, they've always been happy to match it to keep my custom.

Now I know why!

Basically, the insurers have told us they have stated that, as a gentleman’s agreement, NI brokers can't insure GB customers and GB brokers can't insure NI customers! Just fair play, I suppose!

Simple as that!

what do you think they will quote me on my rev3 turbo? 3 years no claims 20 years old. thats if they will most places you have to be 21. must give them a call to see how good they really are

edit....... just read the small print, and having a turbo import you have to be over 25!!! looks like i will have to stick with admiral
