mr2 v6 head gaskets (1mzfe)
Hiya! i am going to start getting parts together for my v6 conversion-got a cheap gasket set for the general gaskets but the head gasket itself is rubbish! Any idea where i can get quality head gaskets from as i am looking into remapping etc so i dont want i to pop after 10,000miles!

You can get mls gaskets for the 1mz I've got the part no some where, mr2big got um aswell.

this site is brilliant so many helpfull people! basically i am looking to put lightened flywheel/port polished heads, make my own manifold/downpipe because both look cr*p!, ultrasonically clean injectors/ flow throttlebody
am i right in thinking these cars have a bit of a rep for popping head gaskets?

this is the hg i have got it looks really crude to me with the rubber inserts in it (red bits) i personally think it looks rough but what do you guys think?

If it's a cheap eBay gaskets I'd bin it personal, the stock Toyota gasket if not planning to go FI or mls gasket if you do.

drop a quick pm to mr2big..... he can give you the Mr T part number for the Toyota MLS gaskets. They're about £30 each i think.

Also depending if your wanting more power, arp head studs
