UK REV 2, REV3 tubby conversion?
Remove UK rev 2 rear clip and fit full rev 3 turbo clip.
How long should this take considering you have done this before many times, no real issues appear and you have everything you need?

If you've done it many times before, don't you already know the answer?

Re: UK REV 2, REV3 tubby conversion?
Took a few weekends to do mine with some issues (Rev5 / Gen3 Turbo swap), having never done the specific swap before. Could be done in a weekend if you really put the hours in and everything goes right first time, and you have all the preliminary stuff done like clutch done, transmission attached to engine, everything ready to go. It's pretty rare to encounter no issues on an old car though, one stubborn bolt could set you back a couple hours for example.

I read it as the car is with someone else and OP is paying them for the work, hence why they are asking questions.

What timescale did they give you originally?
Assuming it's a business where they have multiple vehicles in at any one time, they may not be working on yours all day.

Braided brake lines
Recon calipers and paint
Suspension polybushed
Section of handbrake cable
Fit omori boost gauge in dash where voltmeter was
New dial plasma gauges

Been well over two months now........

It better not be anywhere near that as a price for the full conversion has been agreed.

My experience with garages doing large jobs is that the moment your work slips out of the allotted slot, you end up at the back of the queue and everything drags and drags. Been there more than once.
One of many reasons I do as much as possible myself. I understand why that doesn't work for many people though...

I get that, and that’s why I do as much as I can as well.
But 10 weeks?
I’m collecting it on Saturday regardless however.
