Whilst I applaud the sentiment, I think it is being fanciful to think that my crash damaged car would make a top 5 - unless it was for best dent that does not make a car undriveable :D

If I can put forward my penny's worth...

Maybe have the Mk1 centre stage, with the stock sonic shadow and andyroo's mk3 each side and the TRD and racing Mk3 at each end? Paying homage to the roots of the MR2 whilst exploring how each owner individualises his car...or something like that

Like your thinking Laura...

...I think we're going to go for 7 cars in the Show cars this year as there are so many good one's being added to the thread. Too many good ones to choose from... kudos to the members of the OC :clapping:

I do like the idea of show cars and always have but, the reason I pulled mine from the running is because my car is generally a everyday car and not mint car not to mention a CAT D write off. It tends to be the cleanest cars that are generally molly cuddled and have more time and love spent on them then driven.. generally, and as a result I think quite elitist in my opinon. I have taken the opinon now that if you car is of interest people will look at it in a well planned space rather than parked in special place.

As for shinny comment

BTW, who were the show cars last year? I'm assuming it would be good to rotate the honour around as much as possible (hence why I'm not really entering, but just bumping / spamming this thread instead)

lol... if you self-sensor yourself then you're the one making it elitist! IMHO a selection of neat, clean cars that show off the depth and breadth of MR2 ownership is what we want. Most importantly MR2s are for driving, not just for polishing and keeping in the garage :th:

Dude I see what you are saying but there are truly some really stunning cars on this club and do get picked for that reason, rather than it being a users practical or everyday car. In my personal opinion my rev 1 turbo and my rev 3 turbo where cars that should of been picked a show car compared to my roadster but they never got picked..... I am not being elitest I am being practical and basing my decision on experience. I am sure that my little roadster will happy parked in the corner while I am drinking away (more than likely some Jager and hopefully I'm going to bringing 3 bottles this year :D) with my friends..... and my girlfriend making sure I am safe lol
