japfest pics :)
Re: japfest pics :)
This was my first jap fest and just a big thankyou and shout out to jay for organizing the south west meet even though you showed 20 mins late
It was an early start for us from 4.30 in the morning but it was worth every moment!
Had great fun driving up to japfest with the south west convoy and just had a brilliant day out
Cant belive how amazing the drifting was and just could not belive that the big crash happened right next to us shame i was not filming at the time
And as above james mr2 stole the show for me the engine mods and hks filter on the outside just looked amazing, He was a sleep in the car by the time we got to see it so did not have chance to speak to him But dose anyone here know anything about the car
Wish i got to speak to more of you there but could not remmember whos car belonged to who as there was just so many!
But great turn out chaps and will try and upload the pics of my phone if they are any good

Re: japfest pics :)
little extra info. i watched through my vid again and worked out the times for each lap:
pit start to finish line: 2:06 (this was sighting lap)
lap 1: 2:04
lap 2: 1:49
lap 3: 1:48
lap 4: 1.45
lap 5: 1:42
lap 6: 1:41
final cooldown lap to pit entrance 2:00
im very impressed with these times as it shows i was getting into the track by constantly improving my times. I will have to go out again either this year or next and try to improve these even further

Great photos! I am just trying to upload mine to photobucket, but my laptop is sooooo slow. I really enjoyed meeting some new people and for my first show, this one was perfect. However, I missed out on meeting lots of people I wanted to put names to faces... Next time, can we have a 'stand by your car' for ten minutes so I can whiz around and find out who's who?!

Here's a few snaps I got; although they're not a patch on the pro-job the rest of you have done...

Re: japfest pics :)
thanks dan (needmorespeed) was great to meet you.
it was mryellow in the yellow mr2.
p.s. if anyone has a vid or a pic of my car when it spat out the large flame on one of the corners (think it was quarry) it would be most apprecated.

A Frog eyed view Part 1
Two enterprising Poles seize a better opportunity than their usual Morrisons pitch....
The local builder decides to offer some competition
Another one who was too excited to get any sleep eh?
Listen sunshine - forget the excuses - you WILL be at Japshow. Are we clear about that?!
Six cans of Red Bull later.....
Does what it says on the tin?
You're offering me how much for my car? Is this some sort of English attempt at humour?
Yes I know it needs work - it's an unfinished project - capice?
The owner is bug-eyed from the early start - and so it would appear is his car
Where did you say you were? I still can't see you mate
You can't be serious - you did what?
D'oh! That guy said he coming over to view the car on Saturday not Sunday!
You know those Poles have done a superb job. Mine needs doing too. Are they still here?
Wrap up well he said - it's cold at Combe and always rains.
If I don't suffocate first I'm gonna kill him!
The answer is no - now what was the question?
I shall treat that remark with the contempt it deserves
'Ring slag
Family guy
Hmmmm. I'm undecided. It's a bit Marmite tbh
Tired or too much Jägermeister?
D1Rs - wheely good
Left hand down a bit mate - that should do it
One more joke about sheep dude and I'm going to rearrange your face!!!!
I made so much money today I'm going to BUY the Nürburgring
