With the mr2 being stripped and not wanting the audi covered in stone chips I'm thinking of a budget mr2 for next year, spend a few hundred, strip it out completely and sell the interior trims etc and whatever I get use to get the car going as well as possible. If anything if will be a laugh to see how it goes.

you have seen how well a NA copes with Keiran and Dee last year and then Ray this.

just think what a stripped out version would be able to do .

With me still saving for a house I'm thinking buying a car, even to sell on may be a bad idea. If anyone wouldn't mind a passenger for the trip then give new a shout, that will also half your fuel bill.

Only thing is that there would be no salad guy!

I may be in a possition to hire you one dude but might work out as expensive as buying one and selling it on.. Would also be a mk3 :th:

My seat will be spare Glen, if you wanted another option... I'm a novice though so might not be as fast as the others

I'm happy to travel with anyone,or as Nick suggested a free of you can have a day with me as passenger. Either way ill pay my share just as my passenger did last year. Chris I've had 2 years of driving fast so slower pace wouldn't bother me,it get to see more of thew scenery!

those that have been on previous highland drives may recognise the loop talked about here, I know I remember it and from the comment can see TonyleFrog did too!

Have often wondered about the windy road that can see in the background when we park up at 'The Rest and Be Thankful' that can see in the below pic

found this video the other day
