What's the deal with keeping up? I have a satnav, and what's the deal with food/drink breaks being my first HD

I've done this drive on buckled wheels, I've had a rear damper fail, oil on the rear brake and tyre, the first year I came, I found out I had a crack in my front wheel and it would only hold 9 psi.

You'll be fine Kiz, you've got new suspension that needs setting up.

It sounds like you just need to soften your damping a bit, just so it rides the bumps better.

I'll let you have a go tomorrow to see what you think before I start spending.

That's just for starters. Then there was your epic radiator leak!
IIRC you're not alone either. Another year Kieran (the other one) did too.
Kiz shouldn't be worrying about his suspension but stocking up with Radweld!

I've got an alloy one still sat in it's box on top of the MGB. And room for it!

Well got the suspension sorted ready for the drive, much better now. Still hard, but better. :)

And got Mr Wedge to road test it. You know, I think he enjoyed it ;)

Gave me a bit more confidence in the capability of the car too. Cheers Ian :clapping:

I am driving a mk3, so no room for a spare radiator I am however going to fit a fine wire mesh to the grill as a precaution, and I would urge everyone to do the same :)

That's in the boot of the MGB in it's packaging too!

(the MGB has slowly become my car parts storage bin :laughing )

I've done some GPX tracks of the routes so I can follow them on my phone. If anybody wants a copy then PM me your email address.

Has anyone noticed that Thursday's Google Maps route + directions are north to south - i.e. the opposite of the way we are going?

And if the one in front doesn't have a clue where they are supposed to be going?

People do get separated at times... :D

Didn't notice to be honest. I followed the line rather than the instructions.
