depending on commitments me and the missus maybe up for this, going to have to wait and see how our finances are closer to the date as xmas is making my wallet thin indeed :( just a suggestion, but if the route isn't nailed down yet, i highly recommend visiting Lichtenstein, just came back from a euro trip of 3000 miles with two of my best mates, we travelled to the higher areas around Valdez and the views are out of this world along with the roads :D at one point we thought we were driving through fog, only to come out of it and find we were above the clouds
took a few pics :

2 hours driving up

Ran out of road to decided to go it on foot, took us a further two hours of solid climbing but made it to the top of the peaks (very little oxygen about) where we sat down and smoked a victory cigar :th:

sorry for the long post and i don't me to detach from the topic, just thought it would be an idea :)

Lol, love that last post! The pics are awesome! Sounds like a fun way to go.... Are you able to do a quick google map with the road you took to get above the clouds? Doesn't have to be anything special but just point A at the bottom and point B at the top ;-)... Sounds like an epic drive, although, I don't think a cigar in low oxygen will be on my todo list
2 Highland Drives, 1 Full JAE, 1 Part JAE, 1 France Trip, 1 North Wales Run, 2 Dyno days, 3 Karting Events (Current Champion), 1 Scotland Meet, countless Yorkshire Meets and even more Northwest Meets later... Im MR2-less, for now!

Do you reckon general prices will come down the further from the north coast you get? Just a thought, everything was a little on the expensive side around le harve...
