Doesn't have to be anything special but just point A at the bottom and point B at the top ;-)... Sounds like an epic drive, although, I don't think a cigar in low oxygen will be on my todo list
will get the google route for you now pal :th:

there you go :) around 15 mile route, just beware though, at the start of the route in my cousins audi a3 2.0. tdi, we were averaging around 30-40 mpg, half way up, due to lack of oxygen, that dropped to 5mpg  in 5th doing 10-15 mph
but like i said, its an epic bit of road and well worth it!

Dan popped over to night and we had a quick chat about this, “I am up for it”.

We are both prepared to plan this “driving” event and may even go over to France to drive the route before it is finalised (as done in previous years).

Dan had a very good suggestion about setting out exactly what type of event this will be before people sign up to it. This way you will: know what to expect, know what to budget for, know what to prepare for.

With good planning everyone can have fun :) :)

Which graphically illustrates how small a country Lichtenstein is (about the same area as Glasgow). Some tunnel action too. The top road along the Kulmstrasse and Wasserloch looks interesting.
Brian JW wrote:Wilki fancies doing the run with me but i am a little confused re minimum age to drive abroad i thought 18 he seems to think it 25? he 21 by the way, or is it a stipulaton insurance co can state?
No insurance company can issue a policy which excludes TP cover in other EU countries. It would be a breach of the Motor Insurance Directive 2009/103/EC. In practice I doubt comprehensive cover would be refused although it might attract an additional premium for a teenager.

I assume your question was about the minimum legal age at which one can drive a car.
You are correct, it's 18 everywhere in Europe except
UK, Channel Islands, Gibraltar - 17
Irish Republic, Poland, Hungary - 17
Isle if Man - 16
