Guys if your still thinking herefordshire/shropshire area and want the accomadation scoping out, let us know it's right in our back yard, I've lived in the south shropshire area for 35 years and know the area like the back of my hand. Lol and if you want some good driving roads both this side of the welsh border and in the welsh mountains I can point you in the right direction

I've had a vote on my preferred days but I won't be able to commit fully until the date is chosen

Stripey I think you should chose whatever date suits you best as you are probably the most restricted with your time off and all of this was your idea

I'd pick a date, see how it goes down and go from there happy to help you with organising if you want as I get plenty of down time at work

Thanks it's ridiculous. To get my birthday week off again next year I'm going to have to go in on my leave this year so I can book it a year in advance. Such a dumb, rubbish system.

Tony's mention of 26-29 February, I have that week already booked off. I'm happy with that weekend. It's far enough away from Xmas, and it's a bit further into the year to hopefully be marginally better weather yet the roads shouldn't be too busy with tourists etc. It is also far enough away from highland drive.

Appreciate offers of helping organise it. Let's set the date and then we can delegate roles.

Let me start a list for people who want to come for that date, and then we can go about finding out the cost of the deposit. Obviously I understand we have a list of interested people already but this list is for people who are happy to 100% come on this date and pay their deposit. We do need to get the ball rolling
