Are you all looking forward to April? Thought you might like to see what it was like yesterday.

Sadly I know that feeling!
Mine is away "in hospital" but is so far not responding to treatment. Hoping to get it back soon and hopefully fixed...

Re: 2018 chat thread
Saw this alternative version today. Fell off my chair...
No flour in Scotland!
When will we see Sliced breid again?
No Mother’s Pride for
Your wee bit piece and jam
No cheesey toasties (fur who?)
Wur tartan army
Just pictures of empty shelves
Aye, blink again!
Those days are past now
But icy blast, it may remain
But we might still drive (how?)
Tae get tae Asda again
And stand in queues there (Whit for?)
Wur milk, breid an whisky
And carry them homewards
Tae drink again...

Re: 2018 chat thread
Hey strangers
It's been a while since I posted on here but thought I'd say hi and good luck to everyone for the Highland Drive this year.
It's been 6 years since I sold my tubby and I do occasionally miss it since that day I watched it being driven away.
Since then I have stayed Jap loyal with a Nissan 370Z semi-auto - crazy quick (350bhp ish) but makes the fuel economy of a tubby seem like a Prius - and I am now driving a Civic Type R (that high pitched Vtec scream is very addictive)
For those that know me a little better I have also changed my job. 3 years ago I took a massive risk and left the public sector to work in retail. I'm working for IKEA now and it is the best move I could have made .... so far anyway
Anyway, I was on here copying some route ideas for a friend of mine who is organising a bike ride in the highlands and spotted you are all heading off again soon.
Good luck for the drive everyone and watch out for those speeding Irish men - who'll probably be the last at the bar as well

Re: 2018 chat thread
No way. The last thing we need is a demented leprechaun running around yelling VTEC YO!
spanky spanking it.
Before he got hold of it.
