6.5J alloys

Post by TigerTebb »

I'm currently looking at a new set of alloys and they are 6.5J depth, is this too wide for the front wheels or will it be safe? A few mates said that the wheel arches at the front might interfere but we couldn't make our minds up.

Any help guys? :confused1: :confused1:

For a MK1 6.5J on the front should be OK, but it will depend on the offset. I have 6J with a 45 offset on the front with no problems.
Black is not a colour ! .... Its the absence of colour

15" x 7", with the same offset (35mm), and the same diameter tire works fine, even with moderate lowering springs, so 6.5", 35mm offset certainly should not be a problem.
