The little gold key of mystery
Hey all,
So a few days ago I got my Mk1b and with the keys was this peculiar little gold key. The previous owner has no idea what it's for.
The car is fitted with an immobiliser (i think), there is a sticker in the window that says that it's fitted with a Toyota Security system so whether it was fitted by a dealer or not I don't know.
Thing is I can't for the life of me find anywhere that this little gold key could go.
Any ideas chaps?

I'm not sure but it may be for the OEM subwoofer under the passenger seat.
I was poking around mine today to see if there was any way I could get it to work with an aftermarket head unit, and noticed there was a little key in it. Could be that!

I don't think the subwoofer came with a key?
Looks like a random key - you used to get alarms that were activated with a key. They were crudely mounted to the body.

It's a key for a caravan, or motor home. Zadi locks are common on them, and that's what is stamped on the key

Its a key to turn off the alarm box when your remotes don't work. Bt the look of it off a old Piranha alarm
