Replacement Seats

Post by suchafunkymonkey »

I know people have some seat swaps with the Mk2 & Mk3, but has anyone swapped any other models?

I have the opportunity for some immaculate Leather seats from a Celica. Does anyone know how much modification these would take to fit my mk1?

Given mk3 seats fit a mk1 and that Celica seat fit a mk3 I'd say they would - think you need to modify the mounts though.
I've just stuck Subaru seats in my mk2 ... Very comfy & supportive but a little high.

I've just stuck evo iv seats in my mk2.

Modified some old mk2 frames and once I knew what to do I could prob knock some up in a few hours.

These are well comfy and the height is same or maybe even lower than standard.
