Battery draining

Post by rtjwilliams »

If I disconnect the battery for a few weeks and then reconnect, car starts fine. Leave battery connected overnight and it's flat by the morning. Car has just been restored and after getting back the central locking on passenger side is not working and neither is the the curtesy light, so I am wondering if they might be the cause of the drain?

Any idea how I should go about fault finding?

Thank you

Rob

Yes, going to start pulling fuses at the weekend to try and find out what is causing drain. Just wondered if there was anything common on the mk1
