broken key
The key has been snapped in half, with half the key still in the ignition barrel. The engine is off but i cant turn the ignition in order to get the barrel out.
Any suggestions? Ive tried fishing the broken out but with no success.

An alternative d-i-y solution. Go to B&Q and get a pack of spare fretsaw blades.
Snap one end off with pliers (tip: the teeth need to be pointing backwards)
Wiggle blade into the barrel. Twist slightly and pull. Borked end should come out.
The proper tool will do a better job though.

If you're not living life on the edge, you're taking up too much room!
