Mk1 MR2 Service Schedule

Post by Bennet »

Could anyone advise me on where I might find a service schedule for the mk1 MR2?

I'm looking for a list of what maintenance ought to be performed at what age/mileage intervals. I happened to come accross some advice earlier today that mk1s ought to undergo coolant changes "regularly". I don't know what "regularly" means and it occurred to me that there might be other important scheduled maintenance tasks I'm also unaware of. Left to my own devices I'd just tend to perform an annual oil and filter change.

Google didnt help.

Thanks.

Just a few links to PDF manuals that will have the info in.

There could be more about, so some of the MK1 guys may have better info

My apologies, I didn't realise the workshop manual would contain the schedule.
Thanks.

Bleeding coolant is a bit of a mission so might be worth renewing the radiator and rubber pipes if they're in poor nick. I think basic service interval is something like every 6k on the 1b. Coolant I did last year. Chances are I won't bother again as I got the mix perfect and the coolant is "for life" (well mine isn't lol but hey ho.)
