alternator issue?

alternator issue?

Hi Guys,

My MR2 1b has been sitting up for a few weeks,so started it this morning and the battery light and orange alternator light has come on,car is ticking over as normal,is it an alternator fault,battery was fully charged also,no squeals for the alternator or last starting either,any thoughts

check the alternator is actually turning, preferably by slackening the belt and turning the pulley by hand, should be easy to turn.
Black is not a colour ! .... Its the absence of colour
