Hi,
Opie oils do service packs, with a good look up on their website.

10w40 semi synth or synthetic apparently
Denso iridium VQ20 or NGK LPG3LPG (1498)

Just a quick look, but I am sure that Jimi will be on soon and give great Mk1 guidance

Mr T recommends 2 types of plugs for the MK1 (UK spec)
Nippondenso Q20R-U11
and
NGK BCPR6EY11
As for oil any decent semi synthetic 10w40 will be fine. I've used Castrol Magnatec for years with no problems. I'd buy your oil filter from Toyota just as cheap as anywhere else and very good quality.
Black is not a colour ! .... Its the absence of colour
