4age idle speed

my mk1 idles between 1000 and 2000 wont settledown

If it's revving up / down on its own then you probably have air in the cooling system. Follow this procedure to bleed the cooling system properly https://www.mr2oc.co.uk/know-your2/mk1/ ... ystem.html
