Thank you again. Lol.
The cap rotor arm ( blue print) and plugs
(ngk) arrived today.
I am now waiting for the mech to call
Its like waiting in the drs room
The exhaust will need attention next.
As a matter of interest, how much should I say for insurance value?
Its a 1985 mk1 non t top with 31k. Welding has been done. Also cambelt pump tensiioner. Serviced most of its life.
4 owners in family.
Bodywork is very good.
The prices are a bit erratic

It's a low mileage 1a, coupe or moonroof ? (T-bars weren't an option in 85) depending on the body condition/corrosion, you want to be thinking somewhere in the 2->5K range. If you had to replace it finding something similar for sale will be difficult.

Excellent service from them
We have sparks now but it seems that two injectors are not working/sticky.
There was a lot of oil on the plugs also.
Mechs plan is to change injectors around and noids
It has been standing for 2 years.
Advice always appreciated..
