Fitting MK3 seats in a MK2

Post by APDevelopments »

Hi guys.
I really would like full leather seats in my MK2 but there difficult to find.
A upholster wants £1500 to re cover my old cloth seats in black leather.
There’s plenty of MK3 leather seats around.
Don’t suppose you can easily fit mk3 seats into a MK2 sw20?

Can be done using a similar method to the one I used to fit MK3 seats in my MK1 https://www.mr2oc.co.uk/know-your2/mk1/ ... a-mk1.html
Black is not a colour ! .... Its the absence of colour

I used Jimi's method to fit mk2 seats in my mk1 it was very straightforward, the first one took a couple of hours the second was done in around an hour
