Knocking/creaking from steering at low speed
Morning,
My Rev2 started making a creaking/knocking sound yesterday - I noticed it when parking, as soon as I get about about 5mph it disappears.
Handling and steering isn't affected at all, it's driving fine.
I opened up the frunk and the sound doesn't seem to be coming from the wheels, it's coming from the power steering motor/pump (at least I think that's what that box is )
Any ideas?

Hi there,
If it seems to be coming from the assisted steering have you checked the hydraulic fluid level?
Just so we know what suspension setup are you running?
Does it creak only when turning?

Yep the levels are fine, it's totally stock, and yes only creaks on turning (and only at low speeds).

Check the front strut top mounts, if the bearings dry out/seize they can cause a creaking noise.
