Ok so coil did not fix the job. Coil lead to dizzy has been cut and joined. Every wire has been butchered in this car! Any ideas?

Re: Starting issues
I'd get a fresh set of HT leads for sure....
Also, have you tried getting any codes from the ECU?

Yeah not showing any codes. It’s such an annoying problem. How hard is it to remove and check injectors?

Re: Starting issues
To remove injectors the intake will need to come off. Then the fuel rail clamps down on the injectors to hold them into the head. This means to test them you would need to find a way to clamp them into the rail.
For this reason I would hold off on that untill you have good leads and know you have a good spark

Re: Starting issues
Yeah had to drill the old one off the bracket as it had rusted up. Cleaned up the bracket and reattached everything. Turned her over and it is exactly the same as before starts catches then dies off. Ran with a bit of throttle pressed for a min then as soon as let off just died. I am thinking I am going to take it to Paul woods! Getting sick of throwing parts at it now.

Re: Starting issues
The king lead can crack/break at the 90deg bend. Sometimes it works but other times it doesn't.
You said yours has been cut, did you replace it?
What rev? As I have a spare rev1 king lead but the plastic cap has the groove in the wrong place. You may be able to swap the clips over if yours is also rev1. If rev2+ you will need thinner fittings than mine.
Did you also replace the rotor arm as I had a Micra that would only run sometimes on a new rotor arm. Put the old one in and she'd fire straight up. Also my 2 recently wouldn't start after doing a head gasket. Took me 2 weeks to work out the new spark plugs were duds as to check spark I didn't pull the plugs I just pulled each wire at a time and plugged in a spare plug.
