Gear linkage snapped
I was pulling into a carpark today and all of a sudden I couldn't get into reverse. It would go into 5th or 3rd instead, I don't know what. The gear stick has just gone floppy. I removed the boot and saw the left cable is SUPER loose and I assume has snapped.
I looked on EBAY and only found linkages for the N/A models and couldn't find them on MR2Ben which is where I usually go.
Do the N/A linkages fit the Turbo models okay?
EDIT: I found out that the Turbo ones are a little longer and the N/A ones don't feel right on the turbo. I managed to source some turbo ones from a breakers for £50 and have bought them.
Also bought some brass bushings the same time.
I'd still appreciate any tips.
