96 Turbo factory immobiliser info required
Hello everyone
Those of you who have read my introduction will know i have a 96 Turbo that refuses to start. The engine cranks but I have no spark and no fuel, i have removed the aftermarket immobiliser.
I would like to know how the factory immobiliser functions, would it prevent the engine from cranking? Does it cut ignition and fuel? Is it possible to bypass it to eliminate it from my investigation?
It might be worth mentioning that the drivers side central locking stopped functioning several weeks before the starting issues.
Thank you all for your time

Japan market Turbo's did not have factory fitted immobilisers, though they may have a dealer fitted one.
