Has anybody tried to convert a passenger seat to a drivers given that the bits e.g. drivers seat belt latch, were available from the existing drivers seat.

you would usually dismantle the passenger seat and use the good bits to repair the drivers seat
There is no "it cant be done" only "I cant do it!"

Thanks for the info, the drivers seat's squab is very worn and I can get a good passenger seat.
