Front Brake Dust Shield
Hi all,
Looking for some advice with regards the front dust shields.
I’m in the process of replacing my front suspension, drop links, discs, pads, braided lines and dust shield. Having stripped it down I can now see to replace the brake dust shield I would need to remove the hub.
My wheel bearings are fine and I’m worried about disturbing anything if I go around removing them.
I read on a US forum that some people cut a slot in the shield and then bend it over the hub, has anyone done this?
I imagine most people just run without them because they are usually the first thing to rust away?
