Rear under engine braces
Both my under engine braces are rotten through. I have removed them and was wondering if they actually do anything? Will it fail it’s not without them?

I assume you mean the cancer bars , no it won't fail the M.O.T , jury is out on if they are needed, personally I have removed what was left of them on 2 of my cars with no ill effects .

Yes I am not convinced they do anything really as they are pretty flimsy.
I was thinking of making some but I see you can get stainless steel replacement ones. So will probably get some at some point.

Toyota put them there for a reason, changed mine to stainless years ago
