Hesitant engine pick up when cold
Hi all, hope you can help with the following:
After cold start (engine start without any issues) and driving away, the engine pick up is a bit hesitant when pressing the throttle and will then pick up rapidly and accelerate normally. The completely disappears when the engine warms up. Idle after starting is as expected high rpm (~2000) when cold, settles to ~1000 when warmed up. Cold (and warm) start is OK.
My guess would be either an issue with the air/fuel system - I read that possibly the throttle body needs cleaning, found a link (http://mr2oc.co.uk/ocforum/viewtopic.php?t=141257) how to do this, but is a dead end. Any pointers greatly appreciated....
Otherwise ingintion? Aged high voltage leads? Spark plugs?
Car is a 1991 SW20 3SGE with an induction kit (cone filter).
Thanks for any suggestions
Andrew

Where did you find that link ? It's an old one.
Here's the correct link to that thread https://www.mr2oc.co.uk/forum/198/141257.html

Oops, pasted the wrong link, in the communication thread of link you provided there is a mention to the following link (which I am trying to find):
https://www.mr2oc.co.uk/component/jmrph ... 35905.html
This doesn't seem to exist?
Apart from this: tips regarding my issue?
Thanks, Andrew
