Rev3 oil level sensor

Post by m122794 »

Just a quick one - having a senior moment! I can't remember which way up the oil level sensor goes in the sump - does it mount cranking upwards (so the float hangs down) or does it go in with the float on top of the sensor?

Have I got it right in the attached piccie?

Many thanks.

This may help.
It's for a 5S but it won't be any different for the 3S engine.

Thanks both for the replies - looks like it goes in the sump with the float hanging down...
