Brake pad shims

Post by StoneyMR2 »

I've had a quick look but can't se this topic here.

I've got a project car that needed the caliper rebuilding. That's been done but there weren't any shims with the rest of the brake components.

Question is, do I need these parts or can I get away with just using grease. If they are needed where can I get them? Can't seem to find them online.

Thanks in advance.

That's great, thank you! Do pad come with new pad support and springs? I've got the old ones, except I'm missing a couple of springs.
