M76 UVW Rev 3 UK T-Bar black
Morning all. First post in what must be over 10 years! Possibly a very longshot, but I'm looking to find any potential info on the above black UK T-Bar Rev3 M76 UVW, if at all there is still any. I've had 2x SW20 MR2s in my time (1x Rev3 T-Bar and 1x Rev4 10th anniversary in silver) and my first 'love' was the above M reg Rev3 example. I bought it from a chap in Croydon around 2002 and kept it until late 2005ish. I sold it to a work colleague of a best friend who, unfortunately, got rear ended at speed when sat at traffic lights 2 days after he bought it, so i understood the story to be. I had heard the car had extensive damage and was written off, but i could never find out for certain once i started thinking about the car again many years later. I've just looked on gov.uk for a 'car check' and its listed as SORN, with the last V5 logbook being issued on 20 Nov 2019. Could this mean the car is still alive somewhere, and if so does anyone on this forum know anything about it? If it lived i'd probably buy it back in a heartbeat if all was well and the current owner was interested. I recently managed to track down my second car (Pug 205 1.9 GTi i owned previous to this MR2) that i sold in 2002, so hopefully with a bit of luck...... Any help on this potential reuniting saga very much appreciated! Thank for now. (pic hopefully attached of the car in my ownership circa 2004 alongside my mates Rev5 at a specialist in Andover) https://photos.app.goo.gl/987ndV4ERAiPMfaRA

If you do an MOT check online there is no history, which means it's last MOT was before 2006 (which is when the online history starts IIRC)

Yes that does sound ominous, but if SORN that could be right. It was the last logbook being issued in 2019 that made me think it might still be alive??
