Specialist in Nottm / Derby

Post by proflex656 »

Hi,
I'm just about to pick up an 04 plate sable grey roadster... :)
One owner, full history and 28,000 miles from new...
Just been serviced and MOT'd by the dealer...wheels redone too.
Hoping all will be fine, I've done as much homework as possible and have checked the common issues carefully....subframe at the rear seems fine, the 04 car should be less likely to burn too much oil ( quizzed the dealer in detail about it's history with respect to oil use...and they tell me the car has had no reported issues so far... )
How much oil does a "good " engine burn between services ?

I checked here for a few bits to check, drains in the side vents, hood ears and the like...anything else I should do first up ?
Any good tweaks or easy mods ?
All seems good to go ..... Just wanted to get as much info together as possible prior to taking delivery.

If I do need a bit of work done here and there, can anyone suggest a specialist in my area please ?
I'm in Nottingham.
Would it be best to stick with the fixed price servicing at my local Toyota garage ?

Any suggestions for a parts supplier...both new stuff and good used ?

Thanks guys...really appreciate the help...will post a pic once I have the car on the driveway.
Cheers
Justin

Mrtwos in Willenhall (wv13) is a lot closer and will be a lot cheaper that Rogue for the same work (unless it’s an engine conversion, as Nath don’t do that)
