SHINY NEW MANIFOLD

Post by Redsparky1307 »

Has anyone replaced their manifold with one of the nice, shiny, light ones on ebay? Like this one...

If you have can you let me know how hard it is...I'm a keen amateur and don't want to bite off more than i can chew!!

AH, thanks for the heads up...I'll give them a good spray for a few days ahead of time. I've watched a couple of videos now and it doesn't look too daunting...might set aside the bank holiday weekend to do it!

Not Plan B again!! Why don't we just go with plan B in the first place?

I would seriously recommend anyone doing this to wear really strong leather gloves when tackling the heat shields from experience :crybaby: And 3 in 1 rather than wd40 as it is a lubricant and penetrant .

If you want to get a new manifold try and get one with the support brackets at the bottom of the manifold like the OE ones.
I have seen a few snap because this bracket isn't fitted
