Mk3 rubber window seal supplier?

Post by Cayde-6 »

Afternoon all.

I have searched the forum for a solution but nothing suitable came back so am asking you lot.

The rubber seals around the roof/windows on my 99 Mk3 are perished. In fact in one section there is just a massive gap. Obvs this is not good so I wonder if they can be replaced, how easy it is and where to get the from? I have attached some piccies for reference.First one (hopefully) is just to show the overall integrity of the roof. The others are more specific.

Cheers folks.

Can also try Jodi Collicutt from kbox in Canada. They make replacement parts and are good quality. Had seals for our mk1 many years ago. Were cheaper to ship over than from Toyota dealers.

I'm guessing he may be able to supply the small white plastic clips that hold the side vents in? I have followed the instructions provided on the 'How to clean your roof drains' guide found on this forum and discovered that I am missing 3 out of 6 clips!

As it turns out I was just missing a small metal/rubber component that magically appeared in the ash tray! Drivers side leak sorted! (Found this out a while ago but only just got round to mentioning it..)

Hey, what was the little rubber component you found? I seem to have the exact same issue on my driver's side. I don't think it's the full trim, just looks like a little clip is missing
