Remote Key Fob
I have a 52 plate Mk3, until now i have had no issues with Locking / Unlocking / Alarm.
A couple of days ago my remote stopped working so i replaced the Battery,it still doesn't work, using the key i can unlock the door and start the engine, so immobilizer is fine bit of course the Alarm keeps sounding. I have tried disconnecting the Battery in the hope that the Car would go back to factory settings and recognize the key fob.
Any ideas

Re: Remote Key Fob
Do you only have one key? If not, is it happening with other keys? Is the red light coming on on the key when you depress the open or close button? If not, perhaps the wiring/welding inside has come adrift :( there is a guy on the facebook UK MR2 Roadster page that fixes keys but I can't remember his name :(
