Mk3 air bag warning light

hi, the air bag warning light Intermittently comes on, it might stay for a day then go, does anyone know what I should check please?

I believe there's connectors under the seats for the seatbelt pre-tensioners which sometimes come adrift with moving the seat, hoovering under them etc, might be worth checking them
