Alternative rear brake calipers
Hi
Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere.
I am an improvement on the rear handbrake. Cables changed, calipers, pads and discs replaced hours searched on www on ‘how to’ setup the handbrake. And despite all of that I still have to leave the car in gear…..
I just change the calipers, brakes and discs on my wife’s mini - handbrake is perfect.
The Mr2 brakes are good for what I need so no need to boost them just a better handbrake.
Any ideas? Thanks

Re: Alternative rear brake calipers
Follow the procedure in this article exactly, it's written for a MK1 but the MK3 is the same setup.

Thanks Jimi
I am pretty sure I did this procedure, but I will run through again. Thanks
Are there alternatives btw?

Re: Alternative rear brake calipers
Not that I'm aware of.
I've used that procedure pretty much from the first MOT I took my car for (2005) and it's never failed on the handbrake
