Key fob reprogramme
Hi I've recently purchased an MR2 mark 3 2005 and it came with 2 new non-toyota fobs with key chips from the old Toyota original keys ( the shells I have),
The battery was flat for a long time. so the previous owner I think never linked the fob to the cars immobiliser or knew how to.
The key will insert and turn the engine but there is no spark. That's an immobilizer for you!
How do I reprogramme and connect the new fobs with the immobilizer and start up the engine with a newly charged battery?
Is there a factory reset sequence or some magic dance?
Thanks in advance!
James
