Fridays install
This is what I did friday, removed the door trims to find badly fitted speakers 2 screws and a gap round the outside
Which isn't good as it is very important that sound waves do not reach from the rear of the speaker to its front. If this occurs, cancellation will occur and bass response will suffer.
So I put in some Kenwood mids with mdf spacers with fli crossovers and tweeters all with ofc wire
Then made up a frunk amp board and wired it in
Fitted a sub in enclosure behind the passenger seat
Then put the amp board in and the alpine headunit and had a listen
Sounds nice good staging and the bass has a nice thump.

Re: Fridays install
As you will see the passenger seat has more restricted movement in mine
So I changed to this one
and now this one which ports above the passenger seat
