So really less is more!
I donated the Kenwood amp to a friend of mine which i kind of regret now as i keep hearing to amp the fronts.
so perhaps this would be better:
Strip out the stock amps, speakers and wires.
Fit 6.5 inch components.
Run new cables to front running components from headunit.
Amp for sub
Sub behind seat.

Not really and they are for a mk3 not a mk2.
The plastic adapters you can buy for the mr2 do not fit you do need to make some out of mdf
You want component speakers something like this

I alway use the original tweeter bracket to fit the tweeters out of sight behind the stock covers

Ok so speaking to clive the plan is revised and pretty much finalised. JBL front comps, Kenny amp and Stealth sub. Sorted!
