Toad alarm system question.

Post by BALDYMONSTER »

I have a cat 1 toad alarm system and I’ve been wondering if it’s standard practice to have the control box (not sure if that’s the correct word) that’s hidden away encased in a metal box?

I’ve been told that this alarm should come with the metal box for the installer to do this?

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Having recently had one fitted there was no metal box with the system prior to being installed.

I did wonder....

All the cat 1 alarms I’ve had fitted have never had this either.

Well if I got one it was never fitted.

Now here’s another question for the same alarm.

One of the extra functions on this bell is that you can activate both headlights when you approach the car.

I asked for this but was told it was impossible and the best they could do was to hold down both lower smaller buttons for an age to get the lower front fogs to come on......

Like really??????

its like an alarm, not trying to be flippant but what exactly do you want to know about it ?

i have had mine for 16 years and apart from a window closure module failing, this was an extra and not part of the Toad package, it has worked faultlessly
Not Plan B again!! Why don't we just go with plan B in the first place?
