Best suggestion for you then is definately the Evo triangle! - http://www.drivingroads.co.uk/evo-triangle

Or if thats not good enough for you then i suggest you venture down into mid wales -
Wrexham -> shrewsbury
shrewsbury -> newtown
newtown -> llandrindodd wells
llandrindodd wells -> rhaydaer
rhaydaer -> aberystwyth
aberystwyth -> machynlleth
machynlleth ->Blaenau ffestiniog

:clapping:

Also in Rhaydaer its worth noting down Elan valley as that is also a great drive! :th:

Would also suggest going into the south, Brecon and Pembrokshire are lovely :bleh:

If you can wait till the end of the month Smitty and myself are down in Ludlow from the 20th Feb and may just join you on a drive out :th:

I love the Elan valley area and never get bored of driving it :clapping:

Have a look at this post maybe we could all meet up and have a drive out :D

@Sarah - It's actually April 10th we're going so we might have missed you LOL
I'm going down to Ludlow myself in May for this http://www.springevent.org.uk/
If you're doing a bit of a north wales blast on your way past though, pop a thread up, and I'll check my calendar, I'm sure some of the other north west guys would be intersted too.

@Trouble - I only get 160 miles a tank, you think I'll get round LOL

Over hyped imo. Plus every :censored: head knows about it now. There are better roads.

One of my favourites in North Wales is B4391/A4212 - Blaenau Ffestiniog to Bala.

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&sourc ... 124.2,,0,5
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&sourc ... 55.21,,0,5
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&sourc ... 74.32,,0,5

Mid Wales - B4518 Rhyader to Llanidloes then B4569 to Caersws

South Wales - just about any B road over the Brecon Beacons plus
Black Mountain Road- B4069

Brecon to Builth Wells - B4520

Some great blind crests and drops
If you're not living life on the edge, you're taking up too much room!
