Found a couple of gems in the lakes

Who am I kidding, every road up there was a gem.

On a recent camping trip, I had looked up the way to the site via the main roads but on coming off the motor way at Kendal we decided to let the Sat Nav take us a little more 'as the crow flys'.

Here are the results.

Sorry for the VERY poor camera work/sound quality/dirty windscreen. This video could have been so much better.
